ClintonCharlie

Established in 2005, ClintonCharlie is an edgy high-fashion womenswear label with the iconic BootyHuggers as its signature items, with the first batch at the end of 2006 selling out in less than three weeks.

Clint Webster established the urban/street wear label, 88ounces, in late 2002, starting off with limited edition screen printed t-shirts and jackets, singlets, hats and cuffs, which were sold at local markets and boutiques in Sydney, a surf shop in trendy Byron Bay and a shop in St Kilda, Victoria.

Fourth place for a directional leather outfit submitted for a Youth Fashion Design showcase 2004 cemented Clint’s new-found interest in edgy women's fashion and prompted him to complete a series of fashion design courses at East Sydney College.

A year of sample making, customising and tailoring with Sydney celebrity designer, Jason Chetcuti, saw Clint enter the competitive women's denim market, and so the signature BootyHuggers were born.

BootyHuggers use subtly elasticised denim jean that brings a shapely look to a woman's derriere. Available in many styles, cuts and washes, BootyHuggers have become the new favourite designer jean of many Australian women. The BootyHuggers collection, inspired by the curvaceous bodies of South American women, is clean and simple in look, style and feel and, curve-enhancing. The tailored women's jeans feature blue, white and black washes that allow for a versatile look, which can be dressed up or down, as well as a subtle thigh fade, and carefully placed back pockets give the illusion of slimness.
