Mae & Pearl

Mae & Pearl is a women's clothing brand delivering and producing an essential range of beautiful garments. The philosophy of Mae & Pearl is designing transeasonal collections focusing on elevating the wearer to elegance and sophistication. All pieces in this collection are printed on natural base cloths. Cotton and bamboo weaves, Silk crepe de Chine and silk cotton voiles.

Textile print is a key aesthetic with Mae & Pearl, which are all designed in-house, one of many canvases for the designers with an in-depth appreciation of colour and design on cloth. Mae & Pearl is full of vibrancy, life and colour, translating into effortless stylish sophistication.

The inspiration for Spring/Summer 09 is Vibrancy, dramatic silhouette and print. All prints in this collection have been designed in house, which one of the many canvas's for the innate and in-depth understanding for colour and textiles. The cut and the patterns have always echoed architectural forms of the Art Nouvea and Bauhaus movements. These elements are seen throughout the collection. The 'Gumnut Girl' skirt is a parashoot of colour and volume enhancing the design with 1950's printed panels.

Mae & Pearl strives to deliver gorgeous garments in natural fabrics with divine prints, dressing the women who loves and appreciates something that will turn heads, all the while looking effortlessly stylish and sophisticated.
