Master/Slave

Master/Slave is the Sydney couture house that merges the techniques of the past with the fashions of today. Operating from a two level couture house in Sydney’s Darlinghurst, Master/Slave creates original fashion for their loyal and astute clientele.

Designer Eleni Kondos has been featured in such publications as Australian Vogue for her talents in couture. Eleni has previously designed under her own label and worked in the world of made to measure designing original evening wear for exclusive clients. In 2004, Eleni added to her already extensive collection of qualifications at S.I.T., where she met Roderick Nig and formed their label Master/slave.

Roderick Nig’s background stems from the genre of performing arts and has previously used his talents as a fashion photographer and a make-up artist in New York. In Asia, Roderick has created advertisements and marketing campaigns for exclusive boutiques and designers. Roderick now styles and designs for fashion editorials, commercials and films alongside his full time directing role at Master/slave.

With a formidable list celebrity wearers including Dannii Minogue and Sam Sparro, Master/Slave offers a variety of services from their location in Darlinghurst. The couture house is renowned for their three-hour "Drape and Dress" services and designer couture service for the fashion lover who seeks quality craftsmanship with luxurious design.

Master/slave is the love child of modern and tradition.
